Cocktails in Cabo

While there are the beach-side Spring Break staples like Mango Deck, Cabo Wabo, and Señor Frog’s, here are four lesser-known spots with the best Mexican cocktails including a killer mojito, paloma, or margarita.

1. Blind Boar

Plaza del Sol 18
Centro Mariano Matamoros

Who would have thought there would be a speakeasy in Cabo? Now you can be transported back to the American 1920s, but on the beach instead. Hey, a quality Old Fashion goes down smooth in the sun!

2. Uno Mas?

Blvd. Marina S/N
Interior Plaza Del Sol

This little gem may feel like your typical beachside tiki bar, but when the owner Gina is there to chat you up, and Miguel makes you a fresh-squeezed margarita, you’ll see why people love this place. Plus, the bar only seats ten people, so there is a sense of comradery in the middle of crazy Cabo.

3. Puzzles Place

Calle Matamoros S/N
23450 Cabo San Lucas, Baja

Want to escape the party scene for a quiet drink over a game of chess? Puzzles Place is for you! Stop in for a stiff drink and challenge your mind with a fun board game.

4. Mezquital de Oro

Calle Camino Real S/N
Col. El Medano

Aching for a craft cocktail to take a break from tequila? Mezquital de Oro offers drinks made with fresh herbs and ingredients and a fantastic menu to go along with them!

Now, these are four quality bars where you can get cocktails in Cabo San Lucas, but the real local spots are a short drive north in San Jose del Cabo. If you are in Los Cabos, you have to make the trip up to Flora Farms for an incredible farm-to-table meal. As far as cocktails go, you must also visit Acre across the way from Flora for a traditional tasting of rare mezcals. But don’t say we didn’t warn you!

There is no shortage of places to go for amazing cocktails in Los Cabos. Once you are down here in Baja and have fallen in love with the scenery, people, and the bars and restaurants talk to me about my listings. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t stay longer!

Salud!
